Pilipinas DX News No.24

Hello every one and welcome to the February 8th edition of Pilipinas DX. This is report number 24 and I’m Henry Umadhay in Antique, Central Philippines.Glad to be and thank you for tuning bye.
A special QSL card will be issued for the correct reception report for this segment.Next month is our second year anniversary and in this connection we will issue a limited QSL card starting March 1st, just for this occasion. The card will feature the Map of my province Antique. This for our avid and regular listener’s of Wave scan that would like to collect. So please send your reception reports.
For some DX News:A notable station which I can hear nowadays in my location is Radio Jeddah of the broadcasting service of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia broadcasting from 1000-1230 UTC in English intended to West and Central Africa but it is very audible here.I came across their broadcast for the first time last December 24, 2008 with S-I-O rating of 3-3-3 but sometimes with noise and interference.
T8WH- World Harvest Radio Relay station in the Island of Palau noted in the frequency of 15680 kHz from 0230 to 0400 UTC transmission in English with religious programming. This transmitting station owned now by the World Harvest Radio (formerly by the High Adventures Ministries), former call signs T8BZ, KHBN using 4 x 100 KW transmitters.

1730-11930 UTC Daily for Filipino Overseas Workers working in the Middle East. Frequencies are 11730, 11890 and 15190 KHz via the Tinang , Concepcion, Tarlac , Philippines relay station.

0620 Radio Australia on 15180 from Darwin in Indonesian. Excellent receptionin all regards/armchair listening indeed;
0630 CVC Int’l on 17820 from Darwin in Indonesian. More near perfect receptionof broadcasts targeted for Indonesia;
0635 CVC Int’l on 17635 from Darwin in Mandarin. More flaw free excellentreception.
0645 Radio Australia on 15415 from Shepparton in English. Good to excellentreception tainted only by intermittent low level same channel interferencefrom CRI/Beijing;
0830 Radio Australia on 11945 from Shepparton in English. Good;
0845 HCJB Australia on 11750 from Kununurra in English. Relatively weaksignal further plagued by moderate levels of atmospheric noise;
0950 Radio Australia on 9590 from Shepparton in English. Fair to goodinterference free signal with moderate level of atmospheric noise;

1840 ABC Northern Territory Short-wave Service (VL8T) on 2325 fromTennant Creek in English. Fair interference free signal/less noise thanKatherine;
1850 Radio Australia on 6080 from Shepparton in English. Fair to goodreception;
2140 Radio Australia on 9500 from Shepparton in English. Fair to good.
2205 Radio Australia on 12010 from Darwin in English. Good to excellentreception;
2225 CVC Int’l on 15170 from Darwin in Mandarin. Good interference freesignal;
2235 HCJB Australia on 15525 from Kununurra in Mandarin. Fair to good signal level but with moderate levels of fading from time to time;
2305 Radio Australia on 13690 from Shepparton in English. Atmospheric noise atmoderate levels adversely affected this otherwise good signal; and
2315 CVC Int’l on 15250 from Darwin in Indonesian. Fair to good.
